Design Engineering

From concept through implementation, Airmotive Engineering Corp. (AEC) provides design solutions that assure process integrity, operational efficiency, and regulatory compliance set forth by the FAA, ESA, JAA and others. AEC believes in a collaborative process for design development that ensures satisfaction of all members of the team from our customer to our suppliers, worldwide.

The team works closely with the customer to develop the product concept and specifications. Products are designed with additional input from a number of sources such as manufacturing, tooling, purchasing, and packaging.

Once concepts and specifications are set, our design engineers develop the designs and drawings of piston driven aircraft engine parts necessary for prototyping and production.

The design team works with computer software programs including Auto CAD, Solid Edge, Unigraphics, and other solid modeling software to facilitate the development of custom manufacturing equipment capable of turning the design into a quality product.
